Orchid

This 5 second animation was created as part of an in-studio competition. I loved modelling, texturing and rigging these jellyfish. It’s unlike anything i’ve made before. I’ve always had a fascination with jellyfish, the various vibrant colours they come in and their bioluminescence. I wanted to create a “world” where Orchids could bloom and release tiny glowing jellyfish that float up into space. A magical sequence where anything is possible.
